"Didn’t expect to love this one as much as I do. It’s a strategy game built around integrated air defense—yeah, niche—but it pulls it off in a way that’s both clever and super playable.
The mechanics are where it shines. Hidden movement, resource juggling, phased responses—it all clicks. You’re constantly making tough calls, and they actually matter. There’s tension (and fun!) in every turn, and the game never feels stale. I’ve played it a bunch now, and I’m still uncovering new angles.
If you’ve got some air defense knowledge, there’s a lot to geek out over. But you don’t need it to enjoy the game--the rule book is solid, and the scenario-based intro makes it easy to get rolling. It’s deep without being dense. I've played with newcomers and they've all enjoyed it. The quick rounds allow you to try a few different strategies each day you play.
Strategic enough to reward planning, chill enough for casual play. Whether you’re into tactical games or just want something fresh, this one’s a win.
